Auto Repair Shop


The Client

The client in this study is a local auto repair shop that serves our community. Previously, they used the digital marketing services provided by their CMS that hosted their website. However, they came to us looking to expand their reach and visibility within the community through SEO, PPC, & their Facebook account.

Our Strategy

Initially, our priority targets were high-volume services such as oil changes and tire services. This was a “foot-in-the-door” strategy, wherein we established a connection with a large pool of local customers. The idea being after they receive great service from our client, they wouldn’t want to take their car anywhere else, whether for a small service or large repairs

SEO: We implemented a relatively straightforward local SEO strategy. (1) Onpage optimization for their existing landing pages as well as building out a few more to target second-priority queries. (2) We created a variety of NAP citations in local and auto-focused directories. (3) Supplement with linkbuilding and blog posts.

PPC: We create geo-targeted search and display Google Ads campaigns for promos such as a sale on tires.

Social Media: Nothing fancy here either. We create regular, original Facebook posts on everything from best tips on car maintenance to posts about our client’s activity in the community. The goal is to demonstrate a small-town, community-oriented business.

The Results

Comparing Q2 performance of 2022 and 2023, we saw traffic to the site increase by +56% and leading to a jump in revenue of nearly +75% year over year!
